America? No, thanks.

That’s what I was thinking say, about 5 days ago. I didn’t want to come home. Of course I wanted to see my family and friends. But no..America? No thank you. I didn’t want to leave MY normal life.

On the plane…still thinking “no”.

Landing in Atlanta ”no”.

Driving into my hometown “no”

Walking into my house “no”

Sleeping in a bed alone “no”

Georgia’s humidity “no”

Yesterday was honestly a really hard day for me. I was just really overwhelmed. And quite frankly, a bit angry.

But Jesus quickly gave me a nudge and said “quit being dramatic, I don’t put you places for no reason. I have called you to say “YES!” to all areas in life that I place you in.”

And He has. He has called us to say yes. No matter how much we think we don’t want to do something, we have to realize that God knows what He’s doing.

It’s really that simple.

So, I’m home! And I’m excited! The 2 months before I head back to Honduras are super busy…but I’m so ready to watch as God provides and does really awesome things while I am here.
